Illuminaty1/16/2015 The Real Illuminati
There is a real Illuminati and if you have any idea who the Illuminati are it would probably run close to this short clip from Stanley Kubrick's Eye Wide Shut.Off all movies that have come through the Hollywood screen, Eyes Wide Shutarguably has been described as one of the first movies to really publicize the idea of a secret underground society. There is controversy in that Kubrick, the movie director, died a few months prior to the release of this film suggesting that his commitment to ensuring the film was released led to his untimely and mysterious death. The 2 minute scene above shows where Tom Cruise, a family man, is invited to a private party at a mansion where he is given the password which allows him to enter the premises. His cover is blown after witnessing some dark rituals which is where this short clip then follows.Remember Angels and Demons? Since the release of Eyes Wide Shut in 1999 its core message about a secret cabal has been lost amidst a flurry of new movies launched which also have made reference to the Illuminati such as Race to Witch Mountain, The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. In Dan Brown's thriller Angels and Demons, Harvard "symbologist" Robert Langdon, played in the 2009 film by Tom Hanks, races against time to stop a secret religious order, the Illuminati, from destroying Vatican City. Part of the race includes getting access on ancient documents stored in secret archives in the Vatican basements complete with bullet proof glass and steel elevators. In truth the Vatican archives are actually today housed in a fortress-like wing of the Vatican behind St Peter's Basilica, with the avenue leading to the building watched over by a phalanx of Swiss Guards in ceremonial uniform and officers from the city state's own police force, the Gendarmerie. There are more than 52 miles of shelving in an underground, concrete- walled bunker, as well as exquisite 16th century wooden cabinets packed with priceless parchment letters sent by princes, potentates, heretics and heathens to the Holy See. They include correspondence between the Vatican and some of the most prominent figures in history, including Erasmus, Charlemagne, Michelangelo, Queen Elizabeth I, Mozart, Voltaire and Adolf Hitler. One of the most elaborate is a letter sent by English peers and bishops to Rome in 1530 demanding to know why Pope Clement VII was taking so long to annul the marriage of Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon. It bears 83 signatures, below which dangle 81 official seals on red cord. The oldest document in the archives dates back to the 8th century, while others relate to the trials of the Knights Templar from 1308-1310 and the enrolment of the first contingent of the Swiss Guard in 1505. A Shift in The Approach! Angels and Demons is a prime example of a new trend appearing in Hollywood over the last decade: secret societies being at the center of movie intrigues. Some might find this surprising since secret societies are supposed to be…well…secret. Many people in the movie industry are part of those Brotherhoods so what is the reasoning behind this? In the 20th century, movies about Freemasonry or the Illuminati were rare and far apart. There has however been a major switch during the last decade. The world wide public has witnessed major blockbuster movies featuring those Brotherhoods at the center of the story. Their exoteric symbols are abundantly displayed and some of their history is even explained. Why are those societies exposing themselves to the average movie goers, who, for the most part aren’t even aware of their existence? Isn’t secrecy an important requisite for the survival of those orders? The truth is that occult orders have adapted their strategy to this new context. The strategy is: “If they have to know about us, we’ll tell them what to know“. Through Hollywood and best-selling books, secret societies are being introduced to the average Joe but with one BIG condition: the public is given a distorted, caricatured and romantic portrayal of secret societies. We are introducing in pop culture a mythical lore around secret societies, associating them with fascinating symbols, treasures hunts and exotic adventures.more here
